Great hotel! Since February, we have been on business due to a training here, unfortunately due to Corona, now again. Super rooms, super staff and especially the host family Falkenstein-Pfefferkorn is just super nice and nice! Thanks to Diana, Gerd and Timi for the great time! We will be back definitely! If not on business, then privately!

Eat to go! Unfortunately not possible any other way these days, BUT super delicious food, ready on time and plenty of portion. What more do you want?! Highly recommended! We wish the inn all the best, hold out!

Were eating here for the first time today. Everything was good, price-performance ratio was right, everyone was satisfied. The trout in various variants are particularly recommended. Service very friendly, service good. The inn is ideal for family celebrations or gatherings. We would love to come back.

We are horrified! Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes until a drink order was finally taken. We waited another 20 minutes for the drinks, they were then placed at a table, probably because the guests did not want to expect the head of foam on the beer. Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly worthy of mention, which is why this one didn't deserve an additional star. Red cabbage cooked to a pulp beyond recognition. Kinderschnitzel extremely bad. Toilet seats have been replaced for years, so disgusting! Service was friendly and would have deserved 2 stars. At Christmas, with pre-registered guests who have come a long way, one would have wished for more staff and professionalism. The 2nd Christmas holiday 2019 is over, thanks to the Forellengasthof! Never again and with almost 20 people!

Arrived at 12:45 pm, around 1:45 pm they asked if we were thirsty, when we ordered the drink, it arrived after 20 minutes where my wheat, a cool blond and many other drinks were put on a side table because the waiter didn't seem to have the courage to ask who had which drink. At around 2:45 p.m. our meals were ready after we had ordered from another waitress at around 1:50 p.m. My rump steak (through) arrived bloody, just like my mother's, my grandfather's red cabbage no longer had the usual purple but was brown (almost black), my uncle's trout was so small that we almost thought turn on conservation because we thought a baby trout was being prepared. After my wheat and my father's cool blonde were empty, we were asked if we wanted another drink, answered with a blunt yes, the 2 glasses came more than quickly after 10 minutes, and that with a head of foam. My mother then asked if we could have the dessert menu, whereupon the waitress said she would bring it when clearing the table ... 20 minutes later another waitress came who then cleared the table and said dessert - Card did not come with me. So we didn't want any more dessert. The facade of the shed, if you can call it "may", was more than in need of renovation, the atmosphere was not very inviting, but the waiters were friendly.

Simple double room in a quiet and cozy location. Nice balcony with a view of the forest and trout farm. Unfortunately, the room couldn't really be darkened and the floor could have used the vacuum cleaner. Bathroom a bit old, but clean. If you come with children you have the choice between € 25 for the cot or if you bring one yourself to pay € 7.50 for the children's breakfast (yes, a 2 year old eats quite a bit).

Sluggish, not very friendly service - the decor and ambience are very old. The food was okay, price / performance ratio was still ok. O. We agreed in the group: we don't have to stop here!

The service and the food (traditional German food (mainly fish)) were really good. The prices are affordable. The restaurant is clean and decorated with love to detail.

A very nice hotel, with comfortable rooms. The staff is helpful and really friendly. The restaurant has a good kitchen. I was absolutely delighted with the dishes with fried trout. The restaurant prices are in the reasonable range. I can recommend the hotel without hesitation. If I'm around again I'll be happy to stay there again.
